Anne Armstrong is an adjunct accompanist for vocalists and instrumentalists in the Townsend School of Music. She also serves as accompanist for the Mercer University Children's Preparatory Choir. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from Wesleyan College, where she studied with Edward Eikner. In addition, she is Organist and Music Associate at First Baptist Church, Macon. She is a past dean of the Macon chapter of the American Guild of Organists. She is also a published composer of about a hundred pieces for organ, piano, and handbells, including supplemental materials for the hymnal Celebrating Grace.
